Within the framework of the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Croatian Small Business, Innovation and Investment Agency (HAMAG-BICRO) organizes in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, the European Commission (EC), the European Enterprise Network (EEN) and the European Institute for Innovation and technology (EIT) an international conference Croatia Innovative Enterprise Week in Dubrovnik.

The conference will be held from 1 to 2 April 2020 at the Lacroma Hotel in Dubrovnik and will present the latest developments in the fields of artificial intelligence, information and communication technologies (ICT) and energy.

The two-day program will include lectures by top international experts, entrepreneurial panel discussions, exchange of good practice, successful international entrepreneurial stories and business meetings (B2B).

Artificial intelligence is a key driver of the European Union's economic development, and its area of expected impact is sustainable energy development. By 2050, Europe should become carbon neutral, with the Green New Deal opening up a wide range of business opportunities for innovative entrepreneurship.

The conference will include over 300 participants including international experts in the fields of artificial intelligence, high-technology and energy, investors, representatives of venture capital funds, representatives of research institutions, international and local SMEs, government and ministry representatives, representatives of entrepreneurial support institutions and representatives of the European Commission. During the conference, the business lounge area will showcase the latest ways to put artificial intelligence into practice, and there will certainly be plenty of networking opportunities.
