Funding for research, development and innovation projects is often very demanding and requires financial assistance from the implementers. Funding can be obtained from national and EU programs through various tenders. The e-Financing service gives users the opportunity to create a simple business plan and search for sources of financing and incentives by all available sources of financing in the Republic of Croatia, including EU programs, credit and other lines of financial institutions, as well as incentives and tenders of all local and regional self-government units in Croatia.

Union programs represent an integrated set of activities adopted by the European Union in order to promote cooperation between Member States in various fields related to common EU policies. The Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development - HBOR is the Development and Export Bank of the Republic of Croatia (HBOR) whose main task is to foster the development of the Croatian economy. By providing loans, securing exports from political and commercial risks, issuing guarantees and providing business consulting, HBOR builds bridges between entrepreneurial ideas and their achievements in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the Croatian economy. Among other things, HBOR provides favorable investment loans that are realized through commercial banks. Such loans are characterized by favorable interest rates, low or no fees and long repayment periods.
